Gladys gave me some lilacs yesterday and the car smelled great for hours. In the back seat too, even with the windows open, the smell was wonderful. Today I noticed that my bleeding hearts are beginning to bloom. It's odd because they are still so small, but unlike the lilacs, tulips & daffodils, bleeding hearts keep growing and blooming for quite a while. I picked up petunias today and impatience, but they are hiding in the garage for a few more nights until the low temps stay up in the 50's, It's just nice to know it's almost time to get the annuals in the ground. The sweetpeas are already up and the flower seeds I planted last week are showing their green sprouts already. I love garden season. It appeals to the "instant gratification" aspect of my being.Happy Spring!
