Well, it turns out that Amanda had to let the kids do their own pumpkins this year. I guess that happens when they get old enough, so she wasn't able to do her own decorating this year. I suppose it will be a bunch of years before the overwhelming load of child-rearing allows her to use her own creative skills for pumpkin decorating. I only hope that her freedom doesn't come just about the time she's no longer interested in Jack O Lantern crafting.
