Under the trees beside the sea

It's pretty unusual to find a place where the leaves fall and stay where they landed. These golden leaves are reflecting the wonderful shadows cast by the naked branches. How wonderful to find this lovely scene beside the ocean in Gloucester. The day was incredibly cold, maybe that's why nothing was moving, and the entire meadow was littered with soft curls of goose down. What a day!
