Balloon Flame

It was scary, watching them put the balloon baskets together with one inch PVC pipe and cord attached to decorative cloth as thin as tissue paper, but then to hear the roar of the flame filling that nylon cloth up with hot air... how could I go up in that thing? Obviously, it could all come apart but it seems, flimsy as it appeared to be, it was all connected and supported very well. Sure, I did watch the whole evening flight before I coughed up the courage to take my own ride the next morning. No disasters happened at any rate and flying amid the peace and noise, between the cold and flame, held up by nylon and wicker, I had the ride of my life!
