Bearly Gardening

Oh, the projects we took on when we were younger. It's lovely to look at, these many years since we did all that work, and funny to see the long thin raised bed garden we're setting up for this year - 2 tomatoes, 2 peppers, herbs and lettuce. Well, the funny part is that we were never able to eat all the stuff that our three large gardens provided. That wasn't just because the squirrels would help themselves to the corn as soon as it was ready, but because we simply over did it! Hopefully we'll be able to keep up with this years little garden and since raising the bed like that means we won't have to bend over so much to harvest. The bears are happy too, they won't have to do so much work for produce they aren't the least bit interested in eating!
